Yoga is my passion. Teaching yoga is my hobby, what slowly has transformed to way of being useful to others – sharing my knowledge and helping where I already know how. I give Group and Private yoga classes in Waterloo and Brussels.

  • My key is individual approach and small groups.
  • My tools are instructionsalignment in poses and therapeutic effect of yoga asanas.
  • My yoga props are blocks, belts, bolsters, blankets, ropes, walls and hands + knowledge of Iyengar yoga and yoga therapy.

Yoga is not only for young and flexible – yoga is for each and everybody. Yoga is not religion or fitness, it is something much more.  Yoga will help you relies back pain, what is caused by bad posture or work on computer. It will open blocks in your body, so you would be able to breath with full chest. It will calm you down and bring peace to your mind.

About Me

Acquaintance with Yoga began back in 2009, when in searched for improvement of my physical health and emotional stress, I was going to different yoga studios, trying different styles and teachers. After couple of years I discovered method of Iyengar Yoga – this was the one what felt right – clear, structured and deep. There was no Iyengar yoga in my country and I went to discover it to the neighboring country. There I met my First Teacher – Tamara Bujanova.

From 2012 to 2018, I was attending many Iyengar Yoga seminars in Latvia and Lithuania, and we also organized many seminars in Tallinn with our mentor from Riga. In 2013 I opened InJoy Studio yoga studio in of Tallinn together with my friend, where we began to introduce to people Iyengar yoga method.

From 2015 till the summer of 2017, she held prenatal yoga classes for pregnant women at Family Center next to the Maternity Hospital “Pelgulinna Sünnitusmaja”. In 2016 and 2017 I gave yoga classes for kids aged 4 to 7 in a private kindergarten.

In 2018, I became more interested in yoga therapy. I have completed the courses of Hatha yoga teacher with focus on yoga therapy, spine therapy, what was followed by another yoga therapy course.  I studied yoga anatomy, to understand deeper how our body works.

Yoga therapy is a very fascinating topic where you can constantly deepen your knowledge in theory and practice. As yoga teacher my duty is not only to show the pose, but to help you to discover your body and change the old patterns. I am blessed to know how grateful is person who was suffering from pain for a long time and got relieve.

Knowledge

Basic anatomy is objective knowledge of human body, but how it works for you – this you can find out fully on yoga mat. Here we use muscles which you don’t realize exist and stretching the once are contracted after working day. This is how you will get your subjective knowledge of your body.

Efficiency

How do we faster get to the new level? Here matter the instructions and discipline. To get one idea throw the whole sequence, so your body will remember the move and you can change old habits of your body for the better posture, for example.

Individual Approach

Our bodies are unique. That is why use important to adopt the poses to your needs. That is why yoga props are irreplaceable in the class, but if you have particular problem we can do a private session.

Peace of Mind

Head is spinning in this world full of new information and quickly changing environment. On yoga mat you will learn concentration. You will find observer within you who and as a result in the last pose of the yoga class you will be able to stop the flow of your thoughts, may be not from the first time though.

What Is Yoga of Alignment and Therapy?

Hatha yoga is the base of my practice, on the top are layered knowledge of Iyengar yoga method, basics of anatomy and yoga therapy.

Yoga is subjective, it is not only pictures of poses or chanting mantras – it is self-development. On the mat we face our ego, our fears and our limits. The are many styles in the world – yoga through alignment and therapy is my way, it is not unique – it is based on Iyengar yoga, with knowledge of anatomy and basics of therapy yoga.

Throw alignment we strive for excellence, changing on the way our body patterns. Therapy works when body has problems, but unfortunately most of us face the pain – lower back, neck, knees. Combining both we move forward without violence over the body, but coming out from comfort zone.
